Welcome to Irby Evangelical Church

We are a group of ordinary people who have an extraordinary story - although we have all sinned against God and deserve his punishment he has forgiven us through his son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and now we have peace with him and a certain hope of a glorious future with our Heavenly Father.  We believe the Bible to be God's infallible word and we seek to base all that we do on its truth.

Our church building is on the main street of the small village of Irby, Wirral.  Not far from Birkenhead, Liverpool and Chester.  You are very welcome to come and meet with us, whoever you are young, old, already a Christian or wanting to find out what God has to say to you today for the first time.

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:  While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
(The Bible, Romans 5:8)
